Clothed Figure

This is a topic that is covered well in books using illustrations of the basic folds. What I have come to realize is that books only facilitate part of the learning process. You need to draw to develop. That's what is so great about the way Glenn teaches. He's direct and encouraging. He demonstrates practical approaches and sustainable lifestyle-like routines to developing your skill. Whether it is drapery or painting, his teaching style is gentle and consumable by most all people. I recommend it. I really didn't think I would get as much out of this class as I did.

In this class, you will learn how to analyze folds. You'll understand that folds are dependent on other variables, i.e, material and underlying forms.

This class changed the entire way I thought about drapery and made a significant impact on me as an artist.

Drapery is my favourite thing to draw, and Glenn not only nurtured my love for the subject, but elevated it to new heights of understanding and ability. Gesture, form, and composition fuel all the lessons of the course, and since Glenn does those three things better than anybody alive, you won't find somewhere to learn about clothing or drapery like Glenn can teach you here.

A great class without a strict syllabus, yet full of valuable instruction that even includes composition. The lessons not only give clear instruction but also inspire your creativity. Draped figure is more tricky than the nude and Glenn’s approach is invaluable. As with all of his classes, every video is packed with information without being excessively long.
